Freelancing is on the rise. In five years, the number of freelancers in Flanders and Brussels increased by more than 30 percent. There are now a record number of almost 235,000, according to a new report from the business organization Unizo. “Freelancing has now become a permanent pillar of our labor market, but many freelancers are very concerned,” says managing director Bart Buysse.
