Angelina Jolie beats ex-husband Brad Pitt in legal battle over French vineyard | Celebrities

CelebritiesIt seems that Angelina Jolie (47) has pulled the longest straw. The ‘Maleficent’ actress and her ex-husband Brad Pitt (58) have been arguing about their French vineyard Chateau Miraval for some time now. On Friday, however, it was announced that a judge has sided with Jolie.

Angelina Jolie’s legal team had already requested certain documents a while ago from not only Brad Pitt, but also his business manager and his company Mondo Bongo. However, the actor’s lawyers refused to accede to Jolie’s request. In the end it was up to the judge to decide and he chose sides for the ‘Maleficent’ actress. Last Friday, a Los Angeles judge made it clear that Brad Pitt and his team must immediately hand over the requested documents to Angelina Jolie’s legal team. The 58-year-old actor can still appeal against the decision. Pitt, however, does not have time to wait for the verdict. He must immediately provide the necessary information to his ex-wife’s lawyers.

No bad intentions

The actress’s environment is of the opinion that Brad Pitt can no longer think clearly. For example, a source told the American ‘Page Six’ that “the actor’s emotions have taken over and Pitt is no longer able to use his common sense as a result”. “Anyone who is a bit reasonable would be happy with a partner like Stoli,” it sounds, among other things. “But his hatred for Jolie is just too great.”

Jolie and Pitt bought Chateau Miraval in 2008. After their breakup, the actress sold her share to Yuri Shefler, owner of Russian vodka Stolichnaya. “A dubious businessman who will destroy the image of the Pitt brand,” said the actor’s lawyers. In June, a source from Jolie’s camp first responded to the allegations. “Pitt’s claims make no sense,” it said in the Daily Mail. “After their divorce, Jolie was never able to return to the domain. Therefore, she has decided to sell her share of the property. She made several proposals to her ex for this, but received no response. Since their children will inherit the winery later, she has chosen a business partner with extensive expertise in the alcohol industry. Angelina has not made any mistakes and certainly has no evil intentions.”
