In the new court documents revealed by Page Six, Angelina Jolie – who is seeking $350 million in compensation – bluntly mocks the ex-husband. And, responding to Pitt’s claims that he was the one who created and grew the French estate’s winery, he replies by describing him as an absolute amateur, who defined himself as «a producer of wine» but who at most «dealt with illusions, not with land and grapes».
Brad Pitt a farmer?
In 2014 Brad Pitt had in fact told a Wine Spectator to have become “a farmer”.

But according to Angelina Jolie, the ex-husband was anything but a farmer, and he has «at most visited the vineyards to watch the work of the French workers that they actually did everything.”
Never present on the estate
In the trial papers, the actress spares no poisonous comments, explaining that Pitt was never present on the estate, other than having become a farmer. “During the years that he allegedly built the business, he worked tirelessly on set and appeared in dozens of films,” the documents read. Not to mention countless promotional appearances, jet set around the world for movie premieres and his attendance at Hollywood parties. Pitt is anything but a “vigneron”».
