Son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit Marius Borg Høibyn the trial has been followed on the spot by Dagbladet’s reporter from the beginning Angelica Hagen.

Hagen admits that it is indeed astonishing that the son of the crown princess is accused of such serious crimes as rape.

– We are here to get answers. He is a person who himself says that he has been in the media since he was a child and that he has had a difficult life. It is interesting to hear what this difficult life consists of.

Marius has denied the most serious crimes, such as rape.

– That’s right, he thinks he hasn’t done anything punishable, at least not in the most serious way. That is also very interesting.

Is Marius’s trial the biggest in terms of media coverage since a mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik too trial? According to Hagen, there have been other massive trials in Norway, but in terms of international visibility, Marius’s case is one of the most visible.

Norway is also rocked by another scandal, when Marius’ mother Mette-Marit’s close contact with Jeffrey Epstein was revealed. Hagen says it will be interesting to see what else is revealed in the Epstein furor.
