AMSTERDAM – It had been bubbling for some time in the selection of the Dutch women’s national team, where national coach Andries Jonker is seen as a football coach of the ‘old school’. The KNVB has paid attention to the group of players, not for the first time in the post-Sarina Wiegman era, and will say goodbye to the 62-year-old coach next summer after the European Championships in Switzerland.
