Enjoying everything the coast has to offer during the first warm days of the year: that was the plan of Jacques (76), his best friend Andrea (74) and her son Erwin (57). During the drive to Middelkerke, however, Jacques became unwell and the car collided head on with a truck. The three inhabitants of Leuven were killed instantly. Andrea’s sister reacts excitedly: “Erwin had Down syndrome, but enjoyed life.”
