André Hazes jr. resists and has still not removed Sarah van Soelen and her family from his upcoming Videoland documentary. “They just want to show her the footage.”

The André Hazes Jr. camp has a huge problem. RTL has reportedly paid 250 thousand euros to broadcast its documentary on Videoland, but that documentary is about to be seriously mutilated. All recordings made during his time with Sarah van Soelen and her family can possibly go in the trash.

cheated Sarah

Sarah feels extremely cheated by André, because he would have always told her that he would eventually return in her arms. When she recently saw him in the arms of Monique Westenberg again on the cover of Privé, the bomb exploded. She and her family are completely done with André and do not want to appear in the documentary.

It is painful not only for Sarah, but also for her father Rudolf that André has never heard from him again, because he has sheltered him for months. They therefore have no sense at all that André is about to take a quarter of a million euros over their back. Even summary proceedings seem an option.

No breakthrough yet

What about the conflict between André and Sarah? According to Patty Brard, who is in contact with Sarah, there is no breakthrough yet. “The Belgian producer is not really very accessible. In any case, we couldn’t reach them today,” she says in Shownieuws.

Patty continued: “Sarah told me she was called by an assistant to the headmistress and promised to show her and her family the footage in advance, before the documentary airs. But Sarah and her family don’t think that’s enough yet.”

Colleague Bart Ettekoven: “No, because they just don’t want to be seen at all.”

Not as an intermediate phase

Patty: “No, exactly, but at least they kept the option open to watch it. Yes, as it stands, I don’t think there’s a very great chance that they’ll say: that’s good! Because they just don’t want to be an intermediate stage in that documentary.”

Natacha Harlequin: “What should they watch then? How are they in it?”

Patty :”Yes, but they don’t want to be in it. Nothing has been agreed and they have not signed anything. There is also no quit claim. They don’t have to… If they really want to get hurt, it’s not allowed.”

Quitclaim

Quit claims are very common in the TV world. With such a contract one gives permission for recordings made and one declares to waive the portrait right. “I’ve done 980 episodes of Bonje met de Buren and they all regret doing it the next day,” said Patty.

However, such a quit claim means that those people can no longer avoid it, explains Patty. “Yes, but it has to be in this case too, because if you regret, you will regret and if you have not signed anything, it cannot be broadcast.”
