It’s quite a break from the trend: André Hazes Jr. managed to avoid exposing his love life on social media for no less than six months (!). But last night it happened. “Time!”
André Hazes Jr. was the most talked about artist in the Netherlands during the heyday of Yvonne Coldeweijer, but her abdication as juice queen also meant the decline of his relevance. Every poop and fart of the folk singer was widely reported. His relationships with Bridget Maasland and Sarah van Soelen were especially discussed.
Six months
In fact, André brought all the fuss on himself, because he always showcased his love life in detail on social media. He didn’t announce his first date just yet – in Bridget’s case it would have been a bit too spicy, something with panties on the ankles – but on the second date he immediately posted Insta photos of the new ‘great love of his life’.
How different is it with the latest girl with whom André alternates his on-again, off-again relationship with Monique Westenberg: Noa Braaf. We’ve known for a while that the two are together, but it wasn’t until last night that André posted the first photos of them together. Instagram placed. And from now on he will be doing quite well with it.
Kebab sandwich
André has posted three photos of him and his new sweetheart (see below): one of them eating a sandwich with Greek meat, one of them sitting in the sun and one of them strolling through the picturesque streets of a holiday island. And you guessed it: it is the new great love of his life.
The folk singer writes: “When is a good time to post our first photos together? In any case, in good consultation with people who are very close to me, dear to me and for whom it might be a bit strange to see us together on their screen…”
Six months
It is evident that André is mainly referring to his son here. Monique doesn’t want the boy to be introduced to André’s latest fling every time. And apparently he didn’t want that either.
A term has been agreed, André decides. “We had planned six months for this. And those 6 months are over. And to see us together on your birthday makes it doubly wonderful. You are such a strong, sweet, wise darling. I am happy with you! Congratulations dear, on your 25th birthday! ❤️”
André himself is 31 years old. His ex Monique will be turning 50 in two years.
