André Blaauwgeers (73) is Emmenaar of the Year 2025. Volunteer from Schoonebeek receives the most votes from Emmer Courant readers

André Blaauwgeers has been named Emmen resident of the year 2025. Mayor Eric van Oosterhout announced this on Friday evening during the New Year’s reception of the municipality of Emmen in the Atlas Theater. A majority of the readers of the Emmer Courant had voted for the 73-year-old resident of Schoonebeek.
