André Blaauwgeers has been named Emmen resident of the year 2025. Mayor Eric van Oosterhout announced this on Friday evening during the New Year’s show of the municipality of Emmen in the Atlas Theater. A majority of the readers and followers of the Emmer Courant voted for the active Schoonebeker.
