The Vlaams Belang parliamentary faction wants to drag out the parliamentary vote on the reception directive from the EU migration pact for “days” and push it past the June 12 deadline. The party announced this during a press conference. Minister of Asylum and Migration Anneleen Van Bossuyt (N-VA) calls the action “parliamentary theatre”. “Anyone who wanted to stop this had to do so at European level two years ago.”
