ANALYSIS FLASH: JPMorgan lowers target for Delivery Hero to 42 euros – ‘Overweight’

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The US bank JPMorgan has lowered the price target for Delivery Hero from 51 to 42 euros, but left the rating at “Overweight”. European food delivery companies continued to try to balance sales growth and margin expansion despite persistently low consumer spending, analyst Marcus Diebel wrote in an industry study released Friday. In the upcoming quarterly reports, investors are likely to focus less on the numbers, as expectations for 2023 have already been significantly reduced in recent months. Rather, interest should be focused on the sales outlook for 2024. For Delivery Hero, Diebes reduced its earnings forecasts (adjusted Ebitda) for the years 2024 and 2025./edh/gl
