Harri Heliövaara and his playing partner Henry Patten advanced to the semifinals of the Dubai ATP tournament.
The place came off without breaking a sweat, because the opposing pair Alexander Bublik–Juncheng Shang had to give up the match. The reason was the continuation of Bublik from Kazakhstan’s games on the singles side.
In the semifinals, Heliövaara and Patten will meet the winner of the pair of matches Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool–Theo Arribage and Albano Olivetti. Cash and Glasspool are the tournament’s number one ranked pair, Heliövaara and their pair are third.
The semi-finals will be played on Friday, the final match of the tournament is on Saturday.
