The title, An (almost) blue princealready explains in itself, the meaning of the film: an imperfect man, not devoted to family, who at some point turns into an ideal companion. Thus he becomes an almost charming prince, in fact.
It is a plot that is a great classic of romantic stories, declined in a modern key. Jean-Marc (Vincent Perez), forty year old cynic, in careerbusinessman, head of a large company, interested only in work and his personal gain, casually crosses his path Marie (Vahina Giocante), a woman very different from him. Independent, idealist, dreamer, free-spirited with an overwhelming sense of justice, Marie deeply affects Jean-Marc. The two, instead of ignoring each other, as in a fairytale, bond. Jean-Marc, from anaffective, changes radically: intrigued by the figure of Marie, so pure as to be inconceivable to himbegins to reflect on the meaning of life, on true values. A French film that makes you dream
The film lasts an hour and a half. Written by Luc Besson and by the director himself Philippe Lellouchewas produced by EuropaCorp with the TV TF1 and Canal +. Released in France in 2013, it was distributed internationally under the title Almost Charming, and had a decent audience return, grossing $ 1.6 million.
Vincent Perez: the actor who worked with the greats of cinema
The actor who plays the protagonist, Vincent Perez, 58 years oldhas a long career marked by important films such as The journey of Captain Fracassa of 1991, of Ettore Scolawith Massimo Troisi.
