Local residents heard loud shots that sounded like a ‘rapid firing gun’ at 6.44 am this morning. The police responded to the report and found empty shell casings at the scene. Two houses at the court were also shot at on Thursday. One of those houses has now been targeted again. Both times there were no casualties.

The police are investigating whether there is a connection between the two shootings, a spokesperson said. The police are also looking for witnesses and images for the investigation.

No one could be arrested on Thursday either. The police call the fact that the shooting is now even happening in the morning ‘extremely reckless’. A spokesperson: “People are just sitting in their living room having breakfast.” Nothing is yet known about the reason.

Camera surveillance

Several residents are in shock after the second attack in three days. “I can’t sleep anymore, my children have also woken up,” a neighbor told AT5 this morning.

A resident said on Friday that explosions and shelling have occurred more often in the neighborhood. “Then you hear that a bomb was thrown there once, and there too. It seems like the Wild West, isn’t that nice?”

The municipality has already installed an extra camera because of the shooting on Thursday. There was already at least one other camera in the area, because camera surveillance had previously been set up due to incidents.
