Amber Heard’s ex-assistant seems to side with Johnny Depp, therapist speaks of mutual abuse | celebrities

celebritiesOn Thursday it was already time for new testimony in the lawsuit between Johnny Depp (58) and his ex-wife Amber Heard (35). Katherine James, who could call herself the personal assistant of the ‘Aquaman’ actress for three years, shared her story today. She describes Heard, among other things, as “a dramatic person”. “I’ve never seen her bruised.”

Katherine James was in court on Thursday via video call. James worked for Amber Heard from 2012 to 2015. During her testimony, the former assistant of the actress was asked, among other things, to tell about her relationship with Johnny Depp, Heard’s ex-husband. Katherine met Depp in the spring of 2012, just before he started dating Amber. According to James, the actor was “a peaceful and calm person”. In her eyes, the actor has never behaved violently. For example, she told the court that she has never heard or seen Johnny Depp yell at anyone. “He was a real gentleman.”

His relationship with Amber Heard might not be perfect, but in Katherine’s eyes, the actor was not the jealous type. She also never witnessed any verbal or physical abuse. Heard herself would never have behaved aggressively towards her then husband. The ex-assistant also said during her testimony that Depp has a good relationship with his son. The actor is said to have even taught the boy to play the guitar. Amber Heard’s ex-assistant described the scene in question as “cute”.

Uncertain

Katherine James was slightly less positive about her ex-employer. The woman was clearly not happy with her wages and indicated that Heard paid her “too little”. When she asked Heard for a raise one day, the actress is said to have reacted aggressively. “She jumped out of her chair and spat in my face.” The ‘Aquaman’ actress was apparently regularly aggressive on a verbal level. She would have called her ex-assistant several times by phone. In addition, Katherine received several violent messages during her career, sometimes even day and night.

According to James, there was never any mention of possible violence. The actress is said to have complained about her “mental well-being”. The woman, in turn, also describes Heard as a “very dramatic person”. According to James, the ‘Aquaman’ actress is also quite insecure and was also insecure about her relationship with Johnny Depp. Katherine, in turn, does not believe that the actor assaulted his ex-wife. To back up her argument, she states that she saw the couple almost daily. “I have never witnessed a violent situation.” The actress’s ex-assistant also suggested that Heard didn’t like it when she talked to Depp.

During her testimony, Katherine was also asked whether she regularly saw Amber Heard without makeup. The woman agrees that this is the case. In addition, she made it clear that she has often seen the actress naked. According to James, Heard had no problem walking around naked. Heard’s ex-assistant has never seen her with bruises or other injuries either. She has seen the actress cry every now and then. A few times on the phone, but also a few times when they were in each other’s company. The woman is reiterating at this point that Heard could be quite dramatic in her eyes and that she had quite a few insecurities.

Mutual Abuse

Laurel Avis Anderson, the couple’s ex-therapist, was also called as a witness on Thursday. Anderson treated Johnny Depp and Amber Heard during their marriage. She alleges that both were guilty of assault. She stated this in the Virginia court today in the case that the actor has brought against his ex-wife for libel.

Anderson had a few sessions with the actor and actress in 2015, who were married through 2017. According to her, the encounters were stormy and they both wanted to run away several times. Anderson said in court that Heard had told Depp that he was violent and that he had never been so violent to other exes. “I thought he was good at controlling himself, but Mrs. Heard was triggering something in him. In my view, there was mutual abuse.” The therapist also stated that Depp denied during the sessions that he had any loose hands and that Heard wanted to stay with him despite the alleged abuse. “She loved him. He loved her.”
