The team from Amsterdam fell behind 1-0 in the eighth minute. It also saw captain Splinter de Mooij drop out in the first half. In the second half AFC put its affairs in order. A beautiful Amsterdam attack was headed in well by Milan Klopper. Radjenio Fonseca gave AFC the lead in the 61st minute.
After that, the home team was close to the equalizer, but no more goals were scored. And so AFC is in the second round of the cup tournament.
The draw for the second round will take place tomorrow at 5:30 PM. Then Ajax and AZ also join in.
