The advisory board of the Amann Group, a globally operating yarn manufacturer, with its headquarters in Bönnigheim, has decided on a structural realignment of the management. Markus Nicolaus has been the company’s new CEO since June 1st. Christine Bauer was also appointed Chief Commercial Officer. It has been in the company since 2017 and previously headed the Consumer division. Ivo Herzog, Chief Sustainability & Innovation Officer, also includes management. He has been a member since 2022. Peter Morgalla, Chief Operating Officer, has also been part of the management since 2013.
After the long -standing CEO Bodo Bölzle had left in 2022, the management consisted of four managing directors and a chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer (CSIO). As part of the current realignment, Wolfgang Findeis (CFO) and Arved Westerkamp (CSO) left the company on May 31, 2025.
Markus Nicolaus has over 25 years of experience in the strategic realignment, transformation and international expansion of companies. His task will be to position the company internationally for a sustainable future through further profitable growth and increased resistance.
The Amann Group has been one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-quality sewing and embroidery yarns since 1854. The company, headquartered in Bönnigheim, employs around 2,500 employees worldwide and achieves annual sales of over 230 million euros.
In Germany, Amann made headlines last year when Amann announced in February 2024 that the company would close the last German production site in Augsburg at the end of the year.
