Massimiliano Alvini built his game philosophy admiring Baggio, studying Sarri and drawing the patterns with shampoo bottles. He started training out of passion. The apprenticeship brought him to Fucecchio, his village of origin in the province of Florence, up to Serie A with the Cremonese in 2022 So far they have collected four wins and two draws. The 4-3-3 of the Tuscan technician is working: solid defense, just four goals suffered, and a Ghedjemis bomber version with three goals in a row made.
From the abyss to the summit

Yet, a few months ago, Alvini’s revolutionary ideas have not been able to save Cosenza from the abyss. Alvini admired Baggio and Vialli on TV, his player’s career, however, stopped at the age of 30 for a bad knee injury. A fantastic experience lasting seven seasons, from 2008 to 2015. Alvini’s career continued between Pistoiese, AlbinoLeffe, Reggiana, Perugia, Spezia. The kilometers traveled also brought him to Serie A with Cremonese. And to think that until 2013 it was divided between soles and ball. Football gave Fucecchio’s coach also many friends. With Spalletti they crossed on the provincial camps, Sarri was a teacher. At the Coverciano course, the current Frosinone coach presented a thesis dedicated to him: “From the game model to the preparation of the game: face Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli”. Two Tuscans who after so much apprenticeship managed to establish themselves. In Serie A, Alvini stayed there a few months. He will try to return to us this year with his Frosinone. This time the shoes are the right ones.
