At Christmas we reflect on the birth of Jesus, yet during these dark days many think of those who are no longer here. We lost a cheerful, hardworking fellow editor-in-chief this year. Pascal Weiss led Het Nieuwsblad, a newspaper in Belgium that is also part of Mediahuis, the publisher of De Telegraaf, for almost twelve years – together with Liesbeth van Impe.
