The German Ski Association does not send a single athlete to the start: Kira Weidle wanted to hit back at this speed weekend with positive results after her missed Olympic medal when she ended up in thankless fourth place. However, the 25-year-old fell during the final training session and will therefore not take part in the race. Although Weidle did not suffer any structural injuries, investigations showed that she tore her neck.
