In the voting that started on December 19 at 18:00, votes can be cast for Alperen Şengün every 24 hours. Şengün may be the second Turkish basketball player to play in the NBA All-Star after 18 years, after Mehmet Okur.
ALL-STAR 2025 VOTING SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
Voting for NBA All-Star 2025 started on December 19 at 18:00 and will end on January 21 at 07:59. Votes cast on certain dates during the voting process will be counted at 3 times their value. Interim results will be announced on January 2, 9 and 16, respectively. The first 5 players in the All-Star will be announced on January 23, and the reserve players will be announced on January 30.
Support for Alperen can be provided by voting again every 24 hours until January 21, 2025.
NEW FORMAT IN ALL-STAR
This year, All-Star meets basketball fans with a brand new format. The 4 teams that will take part in the tournament will compete in two-stage matches to become the NBA All-Star winner. 24 players who will be selected for All-Star will be divided into 3 teams of 8 players each. The fourth team will consist of the winners of the Rising Stars match, and the general manager of this team will be NBA star Candace Parker.
In the new format, the team that reaches 40 points will win the matches. The players of the champion team will win 125 thousand dollars per person, the second team will win 50 thousand dollars, and the third and fourth teams will win 25 thousand dollars per person.
