A few oppressive moments for a woman who found herself in a very dire situation. At the beginning of the evening, the driver of a van lost control of the steering wheel and ended up with her car half in the ditch.
This happened on the Zuidlaarderweg between De Groeve and Kiel-Windeweer, just across the provincial border.
The driver managed to keep her head above water and was able to get out of the car. She was checked in the ambulance, but did not have to be taken to the hospital. It is not known what caused her to lose control.
