On the A16 of Breda in the direction of Rotterdam there is a traffic jam of eleven kilometers between the Rijsbergen and the Moerdijkbrug exit. As a result, traffic has almost two hours of delay. Earlier in the afternoon a bus caught fire near the Moerdijk bridge, two lanes were therefore closed.
The vehicle must be removed and the asphalt must be restored. The road must also be cleaned, because there is oil on the road. The clean -up work will last until nine o’clock on Tuesday evening, the ANWB reports. The traffic is led on the emergency lane.
Due to the problems on the A16 it also gets stuck on the A17 between Zevenbergen and Klaverpolder junction. There the delay was risen to 45 minutes around a quarter past six.
