Almost half of the young people who vape have never smoked a cigarette

The number of young people who have ever used an e-cigarette has increased significantly in recent years. Almost half of them had never smoked a traditional cigarette before they started vaping. Figures from the federal research center Sciensano show that the number of Belgians who have ever used an e-cigarette has increased from 19% in 2018 to 27% in 2024, writes De Standaard.
