Wissam Ben Yedder found the next employer just half a year after moving to Iran. The 35 -year -old center forward joins the Turkish second division club Sakaryaspor. At Sepahan FC, Ben Yedder had signed for another year by the end of the season, but the paths separated after only six missions (one goal).
The fact that it took Ben Yedder until April to find a new commitment was mainly due to extra -sporting misconduct in the past. In November 2024, he was sentenced to a two -year prison sentence on probation. The former international and long-time Monaco professional was charged with the accusation of rape, tried rape and sexual coercion as well as drunkenness at the wheel and resistance to state power.
With a market value of 2 million euros, Ben Yedder was most recently the most valuable Ü34 professional without a club.
