At the moment, Tuuva supports herself mainly with subsidies. As an artist, he also applies for grants. Sometimes Tuuva does speaking gigs.
– In a financial sense, I’m quite satisfied with my life, because I don’t need a lot of money, the artist says.
However, Tuuva would like to see a system similar to basic income introduced in Finland.
– Food and home, basic security issues do not need to be earned separately, but should be taken for granted. No one is such a bad person that they don’t deserve food and a home, Tuuva says and gets the other program participants to nod.
