Allbirds relies on sales partners in Canada and South Korea

The US shoe retailer Allbirds Inc. presented its new sales partners for two foreign markets on Tuesday. Accordingly, the company will work with In-Sport Fashions Inc. in Canada and with EFG Corporation in South Korea. In the future, both companies will be exclusively responsible for the entire distribution of Allbirds in wholesale, retail and online trade in the respective countries, according to a statement.

According to the shoe supplier, the change in the sales model is taking place as part of the “strategic transformation plan” presented in the spring. By outsourcing sales activities in foreign markets, Allbirds wants to leverage the “local expertise” of local partners while “saving costs and increasing profitability,” explained Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Annie Mitchell in a statement. In order to further advance this strategy, the company is currently looking for suitable sales partners for additional regions.
