He is expected along the Anas network this weekend constantly increasing traffic: Friday afternoon and Saturday morning for increasing travel from large urban centres; Sunday afternoon for returns to the big cities. The itineraries affected, on Friday 31 October and Saturday 1 November, are mainly in a southerly direction towards provincial towns, in particular along the Adriatic, Tyrrhenian and Ionian ridges and out of urban centres. The intensification of traffic may concern the main Anas itineraries: la A2 “Mediterranean Motorway” which crosses Campania, Basilicata and Calabria; the state roads 106 Jonica and 18 Tirrena Inferiore in Calabria; the highways A19 Palermo-Catania and A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo in Sicily; there state road 131 Carlo Felice in Sardinia; there state road 148 Pontina nel Lazio, a particularly busy artery which together with the SS7 Appia ensures connections between Rome and the tourist resorts of lower Lazio; theitinerary E45 (SS675 and SS3 bis) which affects Umbria, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and connects the north-east with central Italy; the SS1 Aurelia routes (Lazio, Tuscany and Liguria), SS16 Adriatica (Puglia, Molise, Abruzzo, Marche, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto). In the north the motorway junctions RA13 and RA14 in Friuli-Venezia Giulia towards the border crossings, the SS36 of Lake Como and Spluga in Lombardy, the SS45 of Val Trebbia in Liguria, the SS26 of the Aosta Valley and the SS309 Romea between Emilia-Romagna and Veneto and the SS 51 of Alemagna in Veneto. The ban on the transit of heavy vehicles is in force on Saturday 1 November and Sunday 2 November from 9am to 10pm.
