This Friday (February 24th) the sold out benefit concert by the Toten Hosen, the Donots and Thees Uhlmann will take place. The musicians support the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey under the motto “Three chords for your donation”. They play in front of about 10,500 people in the PSD Dome in Düsseldorf. Campino said at a press conference on Thursday: “We are not a band of contemplative hours. It’s going to be loud and wild.”

Arrival and beginning of the concert

The show begins at 9:30 p.m. It was postponed because of the second division game between Fortuna Düsseldorf and Eintracht Braunschweig. So football and pants fans should be able to make it to the event on time.

Admission begins at 5:30 p.m. As the cards are personalised, there will be ID checks. Participants are asked to be there in good time and to be prepared for waiting times at the entrance.

It is also advisable to get to the venue by bus and train – there are only 2250 parking spaces at the PSD Dome. The Rheinbahn has shortened the line cycle for the evening and additional trains are in use. There are also extra buses that shuttle between the arena and the dome to get Fortuna fans to the event on time.

Live broadcast

Anyone who did not get a ticket can follow the performances from 9.30 p.m. on the radio on WDR 2, Bremen Vier, hr3, MDR Jump, SWR3 and SR 1. Telekom also streams them live on MagentaMusik and MagentaTV.

Donate

The proceeds from ticket sales will be transferred to the German Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and Medico International – the organizations have already received 200,000 euros each. The income from the catering should also be donated. Düsseldorf’s Lord Mayor Stephan Keller hopes that another 350,000 euros will come together. There is also a solidarity t-shirt that is made at cost price. The city provides the PSD Dome free of charge, the musicians* perform free of charge, and many employees donate their wages.
