US President Donald Trump is heading to China today for a three-day state visit to his counterpart Xi Jinping. The meeting between the two world powers – which will be eagerly watched by the entire international community – was normally scheduled for the end of March, but was postponed by the war in Iran. It has been since 2017 that an American president visited China. That honor also went to Donald Trump.
