Taylor Swift has a special surprise for the release of her new album “The Life of A Showgirl”. From October 3 to October 5th, selected cinemas “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” events take place.

The singer announced that fans not only see the brand new music video for “The Fate of Ophelia”, but also maintain exclusive comments and “never shown Behind-Scenes material”. There are also detailed explanations on the inspiration sources behind the songs and the official lyric videos of the album.
The US demonstrations start on October 3 at 9 p.m. CET (3 PM ET/Noon PT) in AMC Theater in the USA. The term is 89 minutes, the admission price is $ 12 (plus fees). In contrast to normal ideas, the audience can sing and dance – Swift even expressly encourages their fans.
Cinemark is also part of the project and shows the release parties in Cinemark XD trees with a large image and surround sound. Sean Gamble, CEO of Cinemark, said: “We are honored to bring Taylor Swift back to the big screen. Celebrating together in this setting together.”
High demand for tickets
The run on the tickets was so big that fans initially had to go to a virtual queue. AMC said: “Thank you for your patience. We proactively created this queue to cope with the high traffic.” In the meantime, the website collapsed completely.
Swift announced “The Life of A Showgirl”, which was created in collaboration with Max Martin and Shellback, in August. The album comprises twelve songs, including the title song with Sabrina Carpenter. It is the follow-up plate for “The Tortured Poets Department” from 2024 and appears in several vinyl editions with different cover.
