Former Bundesliga coach Alexander Zorniger will work again in Denmark from July and takes over a climber there. As his new club Odense Boldklub announced, the 57-year-old receives a contract for three years in the first division returnor. From 2016 to 2019, Zorniger had already trained a team in the Superliga at the Bröndby IF and won the trophy.

Anger is replacing Sören Krogh in Odense and is intended to contribute to “the further development of the club” with his experience, as it is said in the club notification. For the Swabian native, it is the third stop abroad to Bröndby and the Cypriot Association Apollon Limassol. Most recently, Zorniger had worked in the 2nd Bundesliga at SpVgg Fürth, where he was released against 1. FC Nürnberg last October after a 0: 4 home defeat in the Franconian derby. He was also responsible at VfB Stuttgart and RB Leipzig.
