Alex van Halen honors his brother with new book: ‘The end of Eddie was horrible’

Not André Rieu, DJ Tiësto or Golden Earring, but the Eddie and Alex van Halen brothers are among the most successful Dutch artists in music history. With their Band van Halen they sold more than 80 million albums and were at the absolute world top. That successful career came to an end in 2020 when the guitar god Eddie died.
