Ex-miss Anitra Ahtola reveals that she cried many times because of the invitation her son Alex Komulainen received.

Ex-miss, entrepreneur and proud mother Anitra Ahtola told Iltalehti in an interview during the continuation of Linna’s party that Linna’s party moved him to tears.

Ahtola told Iltalehte that she was very proud that her son Alex Komulainen got an invitation to the Castle.

– I just cried there and I have cried so many times. In fact, this is a very sensitive day, Ahtola says.

The invitation did not come as a surprise to the mother. When they had been sent, Ahtola had seen an update on Instagram where her acquaintance told about the invitation she had received.

– I had a really strong feeling that I was going to go get Aksu’s invitation from the mailbox now. And so I did.

– Yes, I have cried so many times since then. After all, these are such moments that it is an extremely big honor to be invited to the Independence Day celebration of the President of the Republic on Finland’s Independence Day. That’s a really great thing.

Ahtola says that her heart was full of “pride, love, happiness” when Komulainen was in the handshake queue.

Alex Komulainen is a dancer creating an impressive career in the United States. He has worked with, among others, David Guetta, The Weeknd, Will Smith and Ghost.

“These are of great importance”

The family left for the continuation of the Linna celebrations with a large group. Independence Day celebrations had already started in the family earlier in the day.

Ahtola says that her mother, or “mimma”, was in the village on Independence Day. The family had baked Christmas tarts and discussed, for example, what it had been like when Ahtola’s grandmother’s first husband had fallen in the war.

– We went through a lot of very important issues, and these are of great importance, says Ahtola.

– If my parents don’t tell me, and I don’t tell my own children (about this history), it will remain untold. These are such extremely important things and we also talked about it a lot with the children.

The resident of Komu is going back to the United States on Sunday. He says that he hasn’t even tried to adjust to the time difference during his trip to Finland.

– I’ve gotten through these days with the power of different forms of caffeine, Komulainen says.

The dancer marvels that the experience at Linna was absolutely “super”.

– It was extremely fun, says Komulainen.

– I didn’t really have any preconceived notions. I just went into it with an open mind, that if it’s really fun, it’s really fun. And it happened to be really fun.
