Aleksander Barkov’s new chain friend blew me away

Florida’s revamped No. 1 offense was on a roll against Calgary.

The star signing of the Florida transfer line Vladimir Tarasenko went scoreless in his Panthers debut, but last night against Calgary the man was on fire.

To the first chain Alexander Barkov the sidelined Russian scored 2+1 when Florida defeated the flame jerseys 5–1. Tarasenko was chosen as the number one star of the game.

– I’m not going to lie: this was nice and kind of a relief, Tarasenko told the NHL’s website after the game.

The first game in the new club did not go well, but according to the Konkar striker, the game feels better all the time.

– It’s about understanding a little better how the chain friends and the team play. I felt more comfortable the further the match progressed.

Tarasenko took the first chain Carter Verhaeghen the place. Verhaeghe, on the other hand, was placed second by Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk alongside.

Florida head coach Paul Maurice mewled with satisfaction when he was asked about the new number one joker.

– There is almost no risk in their game, even though they are very skilled attacking players. They were consistently on the right side both with and without the puck. It’s good for us, said Maurice.

Barkov often has just such an effect on the game of his own chain. Even though the first fist led by the skipper tastes points, they are not chased at the expense of the defensive game.

Barkov himself managed to score once, and the other platform Sam Reinhart collected one assist.

Vladimir Tarasenko moved from Ottawa to Florida. Little by little, he begins to find common ground with his new chain friends. AOP / USA TODAY SPORTS
