Alec Baldwin sues film crew for fatal shot on set | show

Film director Joel Souza was injured. Baldwin wants to sue gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed for supervising the guns and ammunition on the film set.

He is also suing assistant director Dave Halls and crew members Sarah Zachery and Seth Kenny. Halls handed the revolver to Baldwin and told him the gun was safe. Zachery was responsible for the props. Kenny supplied guns and ammunition and assisted the gunsmith, Baldwin’s attorney explains.

According to the lawyer, Baldwin wants to clear his name and holds the accused responsible for the fatal accident.

The actor himself is still being sued by Mamie Mitchell, the script supervisor of ‘Rust’. Baldwin’s lawyers had appealed the case, but at the beginning of this month it was announced that Mitchell may still sue the actor. Mitchell sued Baldwin, among other things, for negligence. If Mitchell proves right, there is a good chance that Baldwin will have to pay compensation.
