In doing so, we rely on the tried and tested as well as on the experimental. After all, today’s experiment grows into tomorrow’s standard.
#coolgermany: Karwendelbahn Mittenwald
Whether hikers, climbers or skiers – the Karwendel, with its breathtaking panorama, magically attracted mountaineers looking for adventure more than 100 years ago. From Mittenwald they walked, packed with rucksacks and skis, up narrow paths into the mountains for decades, before the small community wrote high alpine history in 1967 with the construction of the legendary Karwendelbahn cable car. A place that combines real pioneering spirit with the wild beauty of nature and thus offered an unbeatable backdrop for the ALBERTO Winter 2022 collection shoot.

A few years ago, our good friend and long-term partner, the designer and artist Jochem Reichenberg, gave us a shiny gold trouser sculpture that has since made Marco Lanowy’s office shine a little brighter. As part of our work on the ALBERTO Winter 2022 collection, we were inspired by this work and are presenting the ‘Gold Denim’, a 5-pocket coated with gold foil and thus real jeans art for everyone. The special highlight: the more often the trousers are worn, the more extravagant their patina becomes – and the more elegant they become.

Barista – Coffee Pants
Why are we experimenting with charcoal and naming a pair of pants ‘Barista’? Well, for one thing, we’re dedicated baristas, meaning we love real coffee culture, and the day can’t start without a cup of coffee made from organically grown, carefully roasted, freshly ground beans. On the other hand, we are fascinated by the diverse possibilities that the renewable raw material coffee has to offer, even beyond a good caffeine shot. It wasn’t far from our passion for coffee to our passion for pants. With its pressed creases, the waist pleat and the turn-ups on the leg ends, the bi-elastic ‘Barista’ is first and foremost a quasi-chino that we have given a water-repellent surface and given it a decidedly casual look with a drawstring, tie straps, special rivets and a coffee-brown inner lining . However, the real secret of the pants lies in their fibers. In a complex process, coffee charcoal particles obtained from coffee bean residues were incorporated. This technology offers immense advantages for the wearer. Because coffee charcoal not only stores body heat and thus acts as ideal thermal insulation, it also has antibacterial properties and also ensures improved temperature equalization. For the launch in the 2022 winter season, the ‘Barista’ will be available in black, blue, taupe and military.
Taylor – The new slim chino
Chinos made of multifunctional techno qualities? No problem with the ‘Taylor’, the new addition to the performance segment. The smart, bi-elastic pants with a higher waistband, slanted piped pockets with a button and a slim silhouette are not only crease-free and dry very quickly. They can also be ironed completely relaxed and also offer ideal moisture transport. The new slim ‘Taylor’ chinos are available in black, blue and grey.
Hybrid Sports Pants
Golf-playing bike enthusiasts with a weakness for hiking can be happy: ALBERTO has completely realigned its Hybrid Sports Pants range. Equipped with high-end qualities and a variety of functional features, this is now completely under the sign of sports-only. In addition to the temperature-regulating, comprehensively breathable, bi-elastic and quick-drying 3xDry Cooler and the equally breathable and extra-light bi-stretch Revolutional with comprehensive UV protection, a highly elastic, water-repellent material is also used here with Stretch Energy, which is perfect with a brushed inner lining Muscle blood flow and improved energy flow guaranteed. The pants are available as ‘Jump’, a chino with drawstring and ties, as an extra-light ‘Trekk’ with waterproof zips, cargo pockets and reflector patch on the waistband, and as ‘Clay’, a brand new slim-fit chino cargo. The highlight of the series are the reflective pants. Here we have treated the ‘Jump’ to an extensively reflective glass bead coating. Sports sessions after dusk have never been safer.
Smart casual
‘Put on, feel good and simply look good at the same time.’ That is the maxim under which we develop and implement the pants from the ALBERTO ‘Edel Casual’ range. Our tools: the highest quality materials, sophisticated cuts, perfect workmanship and an unbeatable fit. For the 2022 winter season, we are presenting two new models in addition to the classics. The ‘Gene’, a wide-cut style with a high waistband, butterfly and back pockets with flaps, comes in a military style with a tone-on-tone belt and is available in rough cotton, soft Ceramica flannel and a fine wool look. The ‘Clay’ is a slim-fit chino-cargo that will be shown in various flannel qualities.

Feel-good Our ALBERTO jersey pants are self-confident 24/7 all-rounders – and they have every reason for their self-confidence. After all, they not only combine maximum fit perfection with casual comfort, they are also way ahead when it comes to style. For the 2022 winter season, we have concentrated on a total of eight styles, which we have given both a comprehensive qualitative state-of-the-art update and a large number of prints. In addition to plain colors, there are classic checked patterns as well as glen checks and fine knitted looks.

Anyone who thought that everything had already been said about the fashionable status of jeans will find themselves wrong with the ALBERTO denim range for the 2022 winter season. In addition to Japanese denims in two new washes and a classic red selvedge, which is available in two washes and a raw variant – of course only genuine with the characteristic selvedge – we are introducing our organic denim series with jeans made of organic cotton with elastane content in different washings. Speaking of organic cotton: The combination of organic cotton and Tencel ensures comfort that is both rough and soft at the same time, bringing together the best of two worlds. In winter 2022 we are celebrating the return of the royal fabric with the wonderfully velvety feel with a trousers series that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of attention to detail or features. If you like it a bit softer, you will love our fancy velvet pieces. For winter 22 we are showing styles with a finely designed honeycomb pattern.
Bike pants
Ready to get on the bike saddle even in autumn and winter? With our chino bike pants, the fear of cool days is completely unfounded, as they not only guarantee a high style factor, but also comprehensive protection against wind and weather thanks to selected tech qualities and sophisticated features. The super-elastic Dynamic Superfits with Luxury T400 fibers impress with their soft feel and casual look, and are available as ‘bike chinos’ in beige, navy, military and dark grey. The Reflective Jersey is brand new, a highly elastic style designed as a ‘jump’, which, with its highly reflective glass bead coating, is designed to minimize the risk of accidents when cycling after dusk.
