The German champion Alba Berlin has won again in the EuroLeague after four defeats in a row.
In the main round match against Unics Kazan from Russia, coach Israel Gonzalez’s team won 81:53 (36:26). Maodo Lo led the Berliners to success with 16 points.
Alba still has poor prospects for a play-off spot with seven wins and 15 losses in 15th place. Only the top eight teams advance to the next round.
Already on Friday Alba will continue on the European stage. Then the Berliners will be guests of the Russian series champion CSKA Moscow (6:00 p.m.).
