Almost half of 13-17-year-olds do not eat breakfast on school mornings. Only 42 percent of young people who skip breakfast eat school food every day. The breakfast study conducted by Arla and the Mannerheim Children’s Protection Association reveals alarming information about young people’s breakfast habits. 44 percent of 13-17-year-olds do not eat breakfast every morning. 67 percent of young people who eat breakfast every day also eat school food every day, while only 42 percent of young people who do not eat breakfast every day eat school food every day.
