“Akira” stalks Finnish companies – Notifications increased at the end of the year

An expert from the Cyber ​​Security Center reminds us of the importance of preparation. The year 2024 was quieter than previous years in terms of ransomware. However, the number of malware detections and notifications increased at the end of the year, and ransomware constitutes a constant threat, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom says in its release. Traficom’s Cyber ​​Security Center received the most notifications about the Akira ransomware. However, the increase in the number of notifications at the end of the year was not due to the spread of any single malware.
