Ajax takes over defender Calvin Bassey from Scottish club Rangers FC for 23 million euros. The Anglo-Nigerian Bassey has signed for five years in Amsterdam.
The 22-year-old Bassey is the successor of Lisandro Martínez, who was sold by Ajax to Manchester United.
Due to variables, the transfer fee can still rise to 26.5 million euros.
