In consultation with the police and PSV because of chants about Bergwijn
AMSTERDAM – Few people in the Johan Cruijff ArenA noticed, but it was close by or Ajax-PSV (3-5) was (temporarily) shut down. After consultation with the police and PSV, Ajax’s safety coordinator, referee Dennis Higler, considered having the game discontinued. The reason: the disfigured chants that ex-PSV player Steven Bergwijn received from the visitors’ section.
