Ajax will move to Volendam if the club does not finish in the first four and has to play play-offs for European football. The people of Amsterdam cannot go to their own Johan Cruijff Arena, because ten Harry Styles concerts are planned there in May.
Ajax had to look for an alternative location for possible play-offs and eventually ended up at FC Volendam. Earlier this week, all contracts between the parties involved were signed.
The semi-finals of the European play-offs will be played on Thursday, May 21, and the final on Sunday, May 24. Harry Styles will perform on May 20, 22 and 23.
In the 2023/2024 season, Ajax had a similar problem when De Toppers performed in the stadium during the European play-offs. Ultimately, Ajax managed to get a ticket for European football through the rankings.
In the last competition matches, Ajax will play against NAC (away), PSV (home), FC Utrecht (home) and sc Heerenveen (away).
