Timber’s performance at Ajax and Orange did not go unnoticed in Europe. The almost entire English top, among others, made an attempt to bring in the player trained by Feyenoord and Ajax, but the defender himself thinks it is still too early for a transfer (partly in view of the World Cup). After a season and a half, Timber’s counter stands at 77 matches (four goals) in Ajax 1. In the relatively short period he played in the first team, he became champion twice and won the TOTO KNVB Cup.
Timber, who has just signed the new contract in the presence of his mother, agent Christopher Coffie and the management of Forza Sports Group, has his sights set on at least one more league title and a good performance in the Champions League. After another successful season and a World Cup, he thinks the time may be ripe to try his luck elsewhere.
