Ajax can almost certainly forget second place after a poor performance against FC Twente

Ajax seems to be able to put the lucrative second place in the Eredivisie out of his mind for good. Oscar Garcia’s team lost at home to FC Twente (1-2), allowing Feyenoord to increase its lead to eight points when visiting FC Volendam on Sunday. And the dramatic play of the Amsterdam team gives no reason to think that this difference can still be made up. In fact, the Amsterdammers are now fifth.
