Qmusic newsreader Fien Vermeulen is switching to television. She has signed a contract with Talpa and will work as a presenter of Shownieuws, it was announced yesterday. And with that her career in radio comes to an end. “After ten great years on radio, this feels like the perfect time for a new adventure.”

The news was also delivered last night Show news itself, where Airen sat at the desk. “We have some nice news about ourselves this time.”
Fien then said in the item: “It really is a dream come true for me. My mother is also incredibly proud. I think I will get to know a lot of new people.”

And what about Airen? Why is it almost never on screen anymore? “Since Airen is co-host of the 538 Afternoon Show, the combination with Shownieuws is challenging.
