The plane that crashed near the Zwarte Meer on Tuesday morning has been found and emergency services are “busy rescuing the victims,” said a spokesman for the Flevoland Security Region. The condition of the two occupants is still unclear, the spokesman said. The waterways to and from the Zwarte Meer, the location where the plane crashed, are blocked.

According to the fire service, it is a two-seater, but it is not yet clear how many people were on the plane and what happened. Transavia announces in a press release that it concerns an aircraft of the flying school ‘Self Flying’. That is the flying school where future Transavia pilots receive their training.
