Aircraft manufacturer Airbus announced a large-scale recall for its A320 aircraft on Friday. About 6,000 aircraft, or more than half of all operational aircraft of this type, require a software update. The reason is a recent incident involving a Jetblue Airways Corp. aircraft. An aircraft suddenly lost great altitude.
