THEThe countdown has begun and the new arrival is one that directly affects the wallet: starting from next June 3rd the air conditioner and boiler bonuses will changethose who do not adapt to the new rules on heat management risks saying goodbye to tax bonuses for the house. This is a drastic change of direction: the deductions for renovations and energy saving, they will only be granted if the new systems meet much more stringent standards. This is established by the new rules decided by the Minimum Requirements Decree, a provision that updates regulations that have been in place for over ten years. The objective is clear: cut waste.
Bonuses for air conditioners and boilers, the new rules for the Home Bonus
The change is concrete and will closely affect everyone’s daily life is planning a renovation or intend to replace the old boiler. In fact, Italy thus aligns itself with European standards which aim to transform homes into more sustainable spaces. The most important news? Goodbye to those annoying situations where the kitchen feels like an oven and the bedroom remains freezing. From June, regulating the heat room by room becomes a legal obligation.
A customized temperature for each room
The new rules reverse the trend by introducing the obligation of thermoregulation for each individual compartment. This means that each room in the house will have a life of its own from a thermal point of view. It will be possible to set a few degrees lower in the bedroom, where you sleep better in the cool, and maintain a more comfortable temperature in the living room where you relax on the sofa. To do this, simply install the thermostatic valves on individual radiators or use modern zone chronothermostats and intelligent control systems.

Goodbye waste with the intelligent boiler
Another great innovation introduced by the decree it is the obligation of the so-called climate compensation. Behind this technical name lies a mechanism that is actually very intuitive and makes great common sense: the heating system will learn to communicate with the external environment. Through special sensors, the boiler or heat pump will be able to understand what temperature it is outside the home. In this way the system will work at its minimum capacityavoiding unnecessary heat peaks and reducing technological effort.
Summer also becomes cooler and more conscious
The new standard is not only concerned with protecting from winter frostbut also look to the hot summer days. The obligation to regulate the temperature for each individual room it has in fact also been extended to air conditioning systemswith a small flexibility clause: the rule applies “where technically possible”. For those who own classic domestic air conditioners equipped with splits, the problem does not arise: each of them already has its own remote control and regulates itself. The However, the situation changes for more complex centralized systemswhere temperature management by zones is not always included as standard and will require extra attention during installation.
How house bonuses change
All these innovations are not only an ecological duty, but become, as anticipated, the fundamental requirement to be able to access the much-loved tax bonuses dedicated to the home. Anyone who decides to renovate their home or start energy efficiency measures (the old ecobonuses) will therefore have to pay close attention to the dates. We are talking about the 50% bonus for the renovation of your first home And of 36% allocated to other properties.
To avoid losing the benefits
For all building practices submitted and for works on systems started from 3 June onwards, compliance with the new energy parameters and the installation of room-by-room control systems they will be mandatory to obtain deductions. In order not to lose these important benefits, it will be essential to demonstrate, with cards in hand, that new works are perfectly aligned with these next-generation standards.
